BOC will exhibit at UK & Ireland's leading plastics industry event, Interplas. The event covers all of the manufacturing processes, technologies and services within the plastics industry. There will be more than 400 exhibitors presenting solutions, products, machines and ideas. Experts from BOC and Linde will attend to showcase our PLASTINUM range of cutting-edge gas solutions for plastics manufacturing. The main focus of the stand will be our spot cooling solution for injection moulds, PLASTINUM Temp S.
Our PLASTINUM units use Carbon Dioxide to enhance plastics manufacturing processes from gas injections moulding and spot cooling to foaming. The product range provides benefits such as higher quality results, cost savings and more environmentally friendly alternatives when compared to the standard processes. The range comprises of:
- PLASTINUM Temp S- Spot cooling for injection moulds. Our patented PLASTINUM Temp S solution uses liquid carbon dioxide (LIC) as an effective cooling medium for hot spots, reducing cycle times by up to 50%.
- PLASTINUM GIM C- Gas injection moulding with carbon dioxide. PLASTINUM GIM C takes efficiency to the next level by replacing nitrogen and/or water with carbon dioxide (CO2) eliminating an additional drying step in the fluid injection cycle.
- PLASTINUM Foam E- Extrusion foaming with carbon dioxide. Our PLASTINUM Foam E portfolio was designed specifically to keep the mass flow of carbon dioxide constant for uniform, predictable foaming results.
You can also find out about CRYOCLEAN® snow.
CRYOCLEAN snow cleaning from BOC has been created specifically for cleaning component surfaces prior to painting or coating. The process is faster, more cost-effective, more environmentally-friendly than existing wet cleaning processes and produces the same quality results. Find out more.
