Nuclear Decommissioning

As a result of the UK nuclear industry's increasing nuclear generation capacity, the decommissioning of old power station sites has become a priority.

Throughout the UK, several sites are at different stages of decommission.  Each one requires solutions for both the short and the long-term.

One of the main challenges faced is the efficient disposal of nuclear waste to the highest possible safety standards, and to budget.

At BOC we understand the industry requires solutions which assist them in overcoming the challenges related to waste management and disposal.  In response to that demand we are already working with our customers and partners on projects such as waste water reduction.
