- Do I need to do anything now to make sure I get my Low Use rental rate and free gas?
Your Low Use rental rate is already in place and you just need to bring your voucher for free gas into a Gas & Gear or and Agent outlet to redeem your free gas.
- How do I get my free gas?
Simply take your voucher into your nearest BOC Gas & Gear or Agent outlet and present in upon exchanging cylinders. We will issue an invoice with no charge for 1 cylinder of gas and the corresponding collection fee.
- Can I claim my free gas when I place my order by phone?
No, unfortunately we’re only able to offer the free gas for collection. You may, of course, collect the free gas in exchange for 1 empty/part empty cylinder and then place the rest of your order by phone.
- Can I reuse my voucher for more/future refills?
No, the free gas voucher is offered for one-time use.
- Why have I been selected for this special price/offer?
- The Low Use Tariff and free gas offer is specifically designed for customers who only need to refill their gas cylinders infrequently. To initially qualify for the Low Use Tariff, customers must pay their rental invoice annually, hold 3 or fewer cylinders of qualifying gases in 230 bar cylinders and have spent less than £100 on gas in the previous 12m period.
- Why did I receive only 1 voucher when I have 2 cylinders?
Cylinders only become eligible for free gas on the date when the annual rental payment for that cylinder is due. Also, only cylinders for which no gas has been purchased for 12 months qualify for free gas. Nonetheless, the Low Use Tariff applies across your whole account and vouchers can be used with any cylinder.
- I have just realised that my voucher is out-of-date. Is there anything I can do?
Please consult your local BOC Gas & Gear or Agent outlet. Honouring the voucher beyond its end date will be at the discretion of our representatives there.
- I have lost my free gas voucher. Is there anything I can do?
