BOC Clinical Services - Bradford Service

Our Bradford service provides pulmonary rehabilitation for adult patients who have been diagnosed with a respiratory condition in the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB). 

Our team consists of respiratory specialist nurses and physiotherapists who provide expert care and support to patients with respiratory conditions. Patients may be referred to us by their local clinician or GP, and we will work closely with their healthcare providers to ensure optimal care. 

We offer pulmonary rehabilitation to manage respiratory conditions such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary hypertension. Our respiratory specialist nurses and physiotherapists follow best practices to ensure each patient receives individualised treatment according to their unique needs. 

Our team encourages a collaborative approach to respiratory treatment, and we offer a range of educational materials and self-management plans to help patients manage their conditions and improve their quality of life.

BOC Clinical Services - East Coast Service

Our East Coast Service provides respiratory support for adult patients who have been diagnosed with a respiratory condition. We offer home oxygen therapy assessment and review and pulmonary rehabilitation to residents in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB).

Our community respiratory team consists of respiratory specialist nurses and physiotherapists who provide expert care and support to patients with respiratory conditions. Patients may be referred to us by their local clinician or GP, and we will work closely with their healthcare providers to ensure optimal care.

We offer treatment services to manage respiratory conditions such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary hypertension. Our Rochdale service provides cardiac rehabilitation for adult patients who have had a heart attack, heart surgery or recent procedure in the Heywood, Middleton, and Rochdale Integrated Care Partnership (ICP).

Our team consists of cardiac specialist nurses and physiotherapists who provide expert care and support to patients with respiratory conditions. Patients may be referred to us by their local clinician or GP, and we will work closely with their healthcare providers to ensure optimal care.  

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Service provides a comprehensive exercise and education programme for those patients who have had a heart attack, heart surgery or recent procedure.  It is available to anyone who has had:

  • a heart attack
  • a coronary angioplasty
  • heart surgery
  • some people who have angina or heart failure
  • some people who have an ICD fitted (implantable cardioverter defibrillator)
Our specialist nurses and physiotherapists follow best practices to ensure each patient receives individualised treatment according to their unique needs.

BOC Clinical Services - Wigan Service

The NHS commissioned services provided by the BOC Wigan Primary Care Respiratory Service (Wigan PCRS) respiratory team include:

  • Diagnostic Service for Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
  • Chronic Respiratory Disease Management
We will accept referrals from local clinicians for adult patients that are registered with a GP within the Wigan Borough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Wigan PCRS provides a quality assured diagnostic service which consists of;
  • Quality assured ARTP standard Spirometry
  • Fractional Exhaled Nitrous Oxide (FeNO) when appropriate
  • An assessment to ensure differential diagnosis have been ruled out supports adults who have been diagnosed with a respiratory condition.
Chronic Respiratory Disease Management (CRDM) provides the optimisation of treatment/therapies for Asthma and COPD in line with local, regional & national guidelines.

The patient will be seen by a member of our respiratory specialist team who maybe a nurse or respiratory consultant.
