BOC, the UK & Ireland’s largest supplier of industrial gases and medical gases and a leader in healthcare innovations, is showcasing its revolutionary new GENIE® gas cylinders and its latest innovations in surface cleaning technology at Medtec UK 2015.
On display at Stand H746 will be the GENIE® gas cylinder. Portable and lightweight, the innovative new gas cylinder design makes GENIE ideal for the medical device market.
Available in 10 litre and 20 litre sizes and at 300 bar, the GENIE provides up to 30% more gas than traditional standard steel gas cylinders and can be used for a range of gases including helium, argon and nitrogen. The GENIE digital display screen indicates at the touch of a button, flow rate, can tell you how much gas it contains and sounds an alarm when the GENIE has less than 25% and 10% gas remaining. High strength attachable wheels, suited to industrial use, enable easy manoeuvrability within the work space.
Stuart Wilders, BOC Market Sector Manager, Advanced Manufacturing says: “This is the first time that BOC has exhibited at Medtec UK and we are excited to be introducing the GENIE to the UK and Ireland medical devices market.
BOC, a Member of The Linde Group, will also be showcasing its innovative liquid CO2 surface cleaning technology, CRYOCLEAN® Snow, which has been created to clean surfaces within medical device manufacturing processes. The fully automated cleaning process is ideal for pre-cleaning prior to coating and the removal of un-fused metal powder from laser sintering additive manufacturing processes (such as in orthopaedic implant manufacturing), removal of flash material from machined components and the removal of small contaminants from drilled and tapped holes. CRYOCLEAN is fully automated and is also more environmentally friendly because no liquid cleaning agents come into contact with the product and there is no drying process or waste water treatment required.
BOC’s GENIE gas cylinders will be on BOC’s stand at Medtec 2015 (www.medteceurope.com/uk) at ExCel, London and our expert technical team will be on hand to explore individual requirements during the show.
Come and visit us on 3-4 March 2015 on Stand H746, or call Stuart Wilders on mob: 07990 089666 to arrange a discussion.
